McKechnie Vehicle Components (MVC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of MVC Holdings, LLC. The Company is a leading manufacturer of decorative exterior trim products for the automotive industry. MVC’s manufacturing processes include nickel-chrome plating, plastic injection molding, metal stamping, base and clear coat painting and assembly. MVC specializes in manufacturing wheel claddings and trim products which provide enhanced design flexibility, superior appearance and improved wheel performance.

For over 60 years, McKechnie has been designing, developing and manufacturing plastic and metal components for the automotive industry. The Company has twenty-nine patents which have given it a unique marketing advantage in a technically diverse and dynamic industry.

MVC’s is vertically integrated. Core competencies include engineering design, product development, and manufacturing of plastic and metal components. MVC is self supportive; the Company is a full-service supplier that can take responsibility for every stage of a project from design concept to production. At the Company’s facility in Staples, Minnesota, MVC has in-house capabilities to design and build all tooling and check fixture gauges necessary to manufacture their plastic products. MVC also produces high quality metal stampings used for Class A decorative surfaces.
