Jerry Moody, Maintenance Technician

Jerry Moody sees the big picture. After 26 years at the MVC facility in Nicholasville, Kentucky, he knows his daily efforts make a difference to MVC and its customers.

As a maintenance technician in the molding department, it's his job to keep the facility's 28 injection molding machines operating at peak performance.

"Our customers are counting on us to meet their exact specifications and quality measures," he said. "So we take our work very seriously."

If a machine goes down, Jerry or one of his maintenance co-workers is there to get it back into production as quickly as possible.

The job gives him great satisfaction — especially when he sees a product made by MVC on the road or in a new car showroom. "It makes you feel good about what you're doing when you see a product you've helped make and it's being used and appreciated by someone," he said.
