Tony Cannon, Powder Paint Technician

When it comes to continuous quality improvement, Tony Cannon is a natural. As a Powder Paint Technician at MVC Newberry, he spends his days operating an automated paint machine.

"When I'm doing my job, I'm always thinking of ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently," Tony said. "My mind is always working on some problem."

During his 29 years at MVC Newberry, Tony has worked as a Setup Technician, a Press Lead, a Welding Technician, and a Paint Technician. He's always looking for a new challenge.

"I feel like the company looks at me and they know I'm always going to find the best way to do something — no matter what I'm doing," Tony said
