A wheel clad is a piece of either plastic or thin gauge metal that is
assembled to a manufactured wheel. MVC has the capability to
make either plastic or stainless steel claddings and these can be added to
either steel or aluminum wheels to enhance the appearance of the
vehicle for a fraction of the cost. Below is an example of a
cladding that was manufactured for a Ford Explorer in MVC's Newberry
plant.
